Troubleshooting H.264 video streaming

If you are having problems viewing H.264 streams, you can disable the

AVCodec_ErrorRecognition

Registry key.

Open the

Registry Editor

in Windows.

Navigate to one of the following folders:



If you are using a 32-bit system:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gene-

tec\Genetec Omnicast4.x



If you are using a 64-bit system:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFT-

Double-click the

AVCodec_ErrorRecognition

REG_DWORD.
