This section describes the additional configuration steps required for some IQinVision unit
features to work in Omnicast.

This section includes the following topics:

Configuring virtual zones

Virtual zones for IQinVision cameras must be created using the unit’s Web page. When you
create or edit a zone, the video stream must be restarted by changing the stream quality, or
restarting the unit.

Using H.264 multicast streaming

For the multicast address assigned by the Directory to become effective, allowing you to view
multicast video with IQinVision cameras in H.264, you must restart the unit after adding it in
Config Tool.
