Open the radiator drain valve at the bottom of the
r a d i a t o r. D r a i n t h e co o l a n t i n t o a n a p p r ove d
container.
STEP 10

Open the engine block drain valve and drain the
coolant into an approved container.
NOTE:
Attaching a hose to the drain valves will help
direct the coolant to the container.
STEP 11
After all the coolant has drained, close both drain
va l ve s . R e c y c l e o r d i s p o s e o f c o o l a n t i n a n
environmentally safe manner.

Remove the wire from the oil pressure sender on the
engine.
STEP 13

Remove the throttle linkage (1) and the fuel shut-off
solenoid wires (2) from the fuel injector pump.
STEP 14

Remove the throttle cable from the throttle cable
mount bracket.
