10.6.3 Assembling the valve insert of the side valve

Spring-closing valve NC

Caution!

Risk of injury due to moving valve parts.

► Do not touch the lantern (9).

Tools required:

•

Strap wrench, open-ended wrench, hook wrench

Carry out the following steps:

Firmly hold the actuator (140) with a strap wrench and unscrew the lantern (9)
from the actuator (140) with a hook wrench (Z).

Screw the valve disk (15) onto the piston stem (140.1) with an open-ended
wrench on the spanner flats (15.1).

Done

Spring-opening valve NO

Carry out the following steps:

Firmly hold the actuator (140) with a strap wrench and unscrew the lantern (9)
from the actuator (140) with a hook wrench (Z).

Pressurise the actuator (140) at the connection (61) with compressed air,
max. 8 bar.

Screw the valve disk (15) onto the piston stem (140.1) with an open-ended
wrench on the spanner flats (15.1).

Interrupt the compressed air supply to the connection (61).

The valve disk (15) is lowered.
