Recycling information

Introduction

This section contains information about the decommissioning of Ettan IPGphor 3.

Decontamination

Ettan IPGphor 3 shall be decontaminated before decommissioning and all local regula-
tions shall be followed with regard to scrapping of the equipment.

Disposal, general instructions

When taking Ettan IPGphor 3 out of service, the different materials must be separated
and recycled according to national and local environmental regulations.

Recycling of hazardous
substances

Ettan IPGphor 3 contains hazardous substances. Detailed information is available from
your GE representative.

Disposal of electrical
components

Waste of electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed as unsorted municipal
waste and must be collected separately. Please contact an authorized representative
of the manufacturer for information concerning the decommissioning of equipment.
