7 Repair procedures

TRM, Centiva/5 Plus, M1047448/CM-922026, rev. 3.50.a

7.5.2 Change the main

(B) EPROM

To replace the B EPROM:

Ensure that the system is turned OFF and line power is disconnected.

Open main engine according to section 7.2.5.

Use a chip extractor to remove the current B EPROM.

Insert the new B EPROM (mark toward the left side).

Verify that the EPROM is properly inserted.

To verify proper function, turn ON the system and perform the power-up test.
