Chapter 4 Functional Checks
4-23
16
Move Baseline
Adjusts the baseline to accommodate faster
or slower blood flows to eliminate aliasing.
17
Change PRF (Pulse Repetition
Frequencies) - (Wall Filter)
Velocity scale determines pulse repetition
frequency. If the sample volume gate range
exceeds single gate PRF capability, the
system automatically switches to high PRF
mode. Multiple gates appear, and HPRF is
indicated on the display.
For LOGIQ e, LOGIQ e
Vet and LOGIQ i
Change Scale - (Low Vel Reject)
Velocity scale determines pulse repetition
frequency. If the sample volume gate range
exceeds single gate PRF capability, the
system automatically switches to high PRF
mode. Multiple gates appear, and HPRF is
indicated on the display.
For Vivid e
18
Trace Sensitivity
Adjusts the sensitivity to get more accurate
envelope trace.
19
Time Resolution
Adjusts the resolution in frequency domain.
20
Spectral Average
Optimizes the smoothness of the spectrum.
Different levels can be selected.
21
Power output
Optimizes image quality and allows user to
reduce beam intensity. 10% increments
between 0-100%.
22
SV Length
Sizes the sample volume gate.
23
Wall Filter
Wall Filter insulates the Doppler signal from
excessive noise caused from vessel
movement.
For LOGIQ e, LOGIQ e
Vet and LOGIQ i
Low Vel Reject
Wall Filter insulates the Doppler signal from
excessive noise caused from vessel
movement.
For Vivid e
