Appendix A – Module Adapters 

Each PT-353 transmitter and PR-353 receiver module must be installed with a module adapter pair:

MA-508 and MA-509 

●

 

MA-558 and MA-559 

Limited functionality may be achieved with these Intraplex module adapter pairs as well:

MA-503 

●

 

MA-504 and MA-505 

●

 

MA-510 and MA-511 

This appendix gives details, including pin descriptions, of the MA-508/MA-509 and MA-558/MA-550 

module adapters. 

A.1  MA-508 & MA-509 Analog & Digital Module Adapters  

The MA-508 analog and digital audio input and the MA-509 analog and digital audio output module 

adapters are equipped with RJ-11 and XLR connectors and may be used with PT/PR-353 modules. 

These module adapters offer dual domain, RS-232, and alarm contact closure support. Figure A-1 

shows the pin assignments for the XLR jacks. Tables A-1, A-2, and A-3 give the pin connections for 

the RJ-11 jacks.
