INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

rect installation, imperfect maintenance or improper use.

BOOKLET CAREFULLY, with particular attention to
safety devices and standards.

ADVICE AND GUIDELINES
- The oil level should always be between the maximum
and minimum levels.
- Never switch the fryer on unless oil level is correct.
- Change oil frequently: do not continue to use the oil
when it turns brown and becomes viscous.

- When lowering the basket into the oil tank, foam will
rapidly form, caused by the emulsion of the hot oil and
the water contained in the food. If it foams up exces-
sively, lift the basket and then lower it again, to give the
foam a chance to disappear.

prevent these deposits from circulating and burning,
they must periodically be cleaned out. This must be

DIRECTIONS FOR THE USE OF SOLID FATS (LARD)
The use of lard for frying could because a danger hazard
because the lard itself may overheat or cause the frying
pan to overheat.
To prevent this, it is necessary to melt the lard gradually
by following the instructions given hereunder:

Remove the basket and the pan wire mesh and put in
the solid lard.
•
Turn the appliance on at the maximum power setting for
approximately one minute, then turn it back to the pilot
•
Wait a few minutes to ensure that the lard melts
gradually without overheating.
•
Set the appliance at the maximum power setting for an
additional minute and then turn it back to the pilot
•
heated. Wait for the lard to melt completely and then
put the pan wire mesh and the basket back into place.
The fryer can be used properly only when there is the
correct quantity of completely melted lard.
