SOLVING PROBLEMS
If any problems occur during operation, you will find solutions in this section.
Problem
Possible Reasons
The Easy Solution
Bags are not sealed; the
vacuum pump does not
work.
The appliance is not live.
Ensure that the power cable is undamaged and plugged
in correctly at the power socket of the appliance and at
a suited mains power supply (see: ‘Technical Specifica-
tions’). By connecting a lamp, ensure that the mains
power outlet is live.
The power cord is dama-
ged.
Replace the power cord. Get in contact with your vendor.
Do not attempt to repair the power cord!
The overheat protection
is active.
Unplug the appliance and leave the appliance cool down
with the lid open for approx. 20 minutes. Then try again.
You cannot close the lid
correctly.
The drip tray is not
inserted correctly.
The drip tray must slide completely into the vacuum
chamber and may not stick out. Turn the drip tray by
180° and try again. Ensure that the vacuum chamber is
completely clean. There may be no objects or pollutions
within the vacuum chamber.
Some items within the
bag get clamped between
the lid and base of the
appliance.
Do not overfill the bags. When vacuum sealing large items,
leave some more free space at the top of the bag. If
required, remove some parts from the bag.
