This button combines 3 functions:
• After connecting the appliance to the power supply, use this
button to switch on the appliance.
• You may cancel any sealing or evacuating process at any
time you wish by pressing this button shortly. The appliance
immediately stops operation and ventilates the vacuum cham-
ber and/or container.
• For switching off the appliance, hold the button pressed for
approx. 3 seconds.
NOTE:
If you wish to terminate evacuation but seal the bag with
the low pressure already achieved, press the seal only button .
If you wish to terminate the evacuation of a container at the alrea-
dy achieved pressure, with manually operated pressure valve at the
container lid simply close the pressure valve.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
A self-resetting overheat protection device switches off the appliance automatically
when it gets overheated, saving your vacuum sealer from damage. With the over-
heat protection triggered, the appliance cannot be operated again. The overheat
protection may be activated, when evacuating and sealing may items directly one
after the other in short time or when operating the appliance at an environmental
temperature above 35°C (95°F).
Prefer to make a short break of approx. 20 seconds after each sealing cycle. Fol-
lowing this advice is quite simple, when using this time for preparing the next bag.
When the overheat protection has been triggered, unplug the appliance and wait
for approx. 20 minutes, leaving the lid open. Thereafter, you can re-assume opera-
tion as normal.
