within the complete possible range (see: ‘Using the Buttons’). This can be done indi-
vidually for each vacuum sealing cycle. During operation, the set values are counted
down to zero and recalled after finishing the task.
• The sealing time can be set to 0 or from 5 to 10 seconds in steps of 1 second.
• Set the vacuum time to 0 or from 5 to 80 seconds in steps of 5 seconds.
NOTE
You may set the sealing time and/or vacuum time to “00”. In these cases the vacu-
um sealer uses automatically set values (see: ‘Automatic Function‘).
AUTOMATIC FUNCTION
When the sealing time and/or vacuum time is set to “00”, the appliance uses pre-
defined default values for these processes.
Note: This function is only available for sealing bags.
• Sealing time: 5 seconds.
• Evacuation: the pressure within the bag is reduced somewhat.
USING THE BUTTONS
IMPORTANT -
The buttons of the appliance are touch sensors. There is no use in
pressing down the buttons, but simply touch the assigned area with your finger. If
there is no respond, rub a moist cloth between your fingers. Then try again.

Touch these buttons for elongating ( ) or shortening ( ) the
time for sealing or evacuation.
Seal only
For sealing bags and foils air-tight without evacuation. Therefore
only the sealing time must be adjusted. When pressing this but-
ton during evacuation, the bag will be sealed at once, no matter
whether the set pressure is reached or not.
Use this function for making your own bags of individual size or for
sealing bags airtight but under normal pressure.
NOTE:
The best sealing time depends on the foil material used. Opti-
mize the setting via this function, before vacuum sealing bags.
