Note:
If you set the brightness to more than 100%, the pulse width is
limited to a safe value as described in
Section 7.1, Pulse and duty cycle

12.2.7 Setting time periods
When the TR-HT requires you to enter a numeric value, the second line of
the display flashes indicating that you can use the
p
and
q
keys to
change the range, or press the
SEL
button to enter a value using the
p
and
q
buttons.
To set pulse delay, retrigger and pulse width values, select the required
range from the table below (delay is shown as an example):
Display
Range of values
Values are displayed in seconds from 10ms
to 5 seconds in steps of 10ms.
Values are displayed in milliseconds from
1ms to 999ms in steps of 1ms.
Values are displayed in milliseconds from
0.1ms to 99.9ms in steps of 0.1ms.
Values are displayed in milliseconds from
0.01 ms to 9.99 ms in steps of 0.01ms.
Values are displayed in microseconds from
1μs to 999μs in steps of 1μs.
To enter the value, press the
SEL
button to select the range, and use the
p
and
q
buttons to set a value. Press the
SEL
button to complete setting
the value.

of values that can be used when setting up your TR-HT controller.
12.2.8 Setting the internal trigger timer
You can set an internal trigger timer when the TR-HT is in pulse mode.
When set, the TR-HT triggers with the same delay and pulse width already
set up as described in
Section 12.2.6, Setting up pulsed operation
External triggering remains enabled.
Ensure the TR-HT is set to pulsed operation. To set the period of the
internal trigger timer, press and hold
SEL
for 1 second,
Select Opt
and
Chan 1
are displayed. Follow the keystrokes overleaf:
