2.24.4 How to cancel the tracking
How to cancel tracking of individual targets
1.
Tap the acquisition symbol of the target for which you want to cancel tracking, and
the cursor appears on the target.
2.
Tap [CANCEL] shown on the right side of the screen.
2.24.5 Lost target
Targets cannot be tracked if echoes from the tracking target disappear. When a target is
lost, an alarm sounds and the target symbol changes into a lost target symbol (flashing)
and the alert message “LOST” appears at the lower part of the screen. If the target is
lost near the own ship, confirm your safety.
If a target once lost is acquired again, the normal acquisition symbol is restored. To
erase the lost target symbol, tap the lost target symbol, then press the
MENU/ESC
key.
If the symbol is left flashing, the lost target symbol disappears in about 1 minute.
Take the following steps to cancel the lost target tracking.
Touch control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [TT].
3.
Tap [Erase Lost TT Target].
A popup message appears.
4.
Tap [Yes] or [No].
5.
Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].
Key control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Select [TT] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
3.
Select [Erase Lost TT Target] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
A popup message appears.
