How to change the picture advance speed
The picture advance speed can be changed to better observe bottom conditions.
When viewing a bottom with sharp rises and falls, such as a reef-bed or submerged
wreck, a fast advance speed helps to “smooth” out the bottom for easier viewing. On
the other hand, when viewing a smooth bottom with little to no undulations, a slow
advance speed helps to identify rises and falls.
Touch control:
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [Menu].
2. Tap [SIDE SCAN].
3. Tap [Pic. Advance].
[Off]/[1/16]/[1/8]/[1/4]/[1/2]/[x1]/[x2]/[x4] selection box appears.
4. Tap [Off], [1/16], [1/8], [1/4], [1/2], [x1], [x2] or [x4].
The fastest speed is [4/1] and slowest speed is [1/16]. [4/1] means four times
normal speed and [1/16] means sixteen times slower than normal speed.
5. Tap [×] on the title bar to close [MENU].

ENTER
key.
3. Select [Pic. Advance] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.

4. Select [Off], [1/16], [1/8], [1/4], [1/2], [x1], [x2] or [x4]
with the arrow keys, then

How to change echo color
You can select the echo color as follows.
Touch control:
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [Menu].
2. Tap [SIDE SCAN].
3. Tap [Echo Color].
[Gray]/[Blue]/[Brown] selection box appears.
4. Tap [Gray], [Blue] or [Brown].
5. Tap [×] on the title bar to close [MENU].
Key control:
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [Menu].
2. Select [SIDE SCAN] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
3. Select [Echo Color] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
[Gray]/[Blue]/[Brown] selection box appears.
4. Select [Gray], [Blue] or [Brown]
with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
5. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to close [Menu].
