How to enter and display the TLL marker( )
The TLL function, which requires positional data and time, puts the TLL marker
on the corresponding location on the multi beam sounder display.
To mark a position on the multi beam sonar, press the
TLL
key. The TLL marker
(see the figure below) is placed at the corresponding location on the multi beam
sonar display. The displayed data and action taken after registration of a marker
depends on status of the cursor.
Cursor shown:
Display of latitude/longitude and water depth at the time the
marker is registered. This information is output to connected navigational
equipment.
Cursor not shown:
Display of latitude/longitude and water depth at the time the
marker is registered. The TLL marker appears in downward location in case of
multi beam fish finder and 3D history modes.
The maximum number of registerable TLL markers is 20 for each display mode.
When that amount is exceeded in a given mode, the oldest marker is deleted.
Example of TLL mark
Note:
For the DFF-3D, TLL marker(s) is not shown on either the port or starboard
screen of the multi fish finder mode when the beam angle is 50 ° and the beam
width is 20 °. However, TLL is output.
The tables on the next page show function availability according to the
latitude/longitude, and the presence or absence of heading data. Refer to the
illustration on page 4-6 “Triple beam display” about the port, downward and
starboard displays. If there is no latitude/longitude data, none of the functions
below are available.
