Extensions to the mainboard

Details on whether you can upgrade the main memory or the processor of your device are provided
in the technical manual for the mainboard.

►

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

►

Fold up the drive cage (see "Opening the drive cage").

Upgrading main memory

►

Upgrade the memory according to the description in the technical manual for the mainboard.

►

Fold down the drive cage (see "Closing the drive cage").

►

Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").

Replacing the processor

Before you can replace the processor, you have to remove the den ventilation duct.

Removing ventilation duct

►

Remove any cables that are in the way.

►

Remove the ventilation duct from the unit.

►

Unplug the power supply cable of the processor fan from the main board. See technical manual
for the mainboard.

►

Replace the processor as it is described in the technical manual for the mainboard.

Installing ventilation duct

►

Connect the power supply cable to the processor fan. See technical manual for the mainboard.

►

Place the ventilation duct in the unit.

►

Connect all the cables removed before.

►

Fold down the drive cage (see "Closing the drive cage").

►

Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").
