Replacing Paper

Replacing Consumables

5.1.2.4 Removing the Spindle Unit

Check that the printer’s power light is on.

If the power light is flashing, the printer is operating. Wait until all operations have stopped.

Press the PAUSE switch and wait until the printer’s light changes from flashing to lit.

CAUTION

Make sure to press the PAUSE switch before removing the spindle unit.

Removing the spindle unit without pressing the PAUSE switch may cause a paper

jam.

In the power saving mode, the spindle unit can be taken out without pressing PAUSE

switch.

The paper is rolled back to the replaceable position.

Remove the scrap paper box, and then empty the box.

Remove the Inner Cover.
