- Frontier DE100 Operation Guide -

Installing the Printer Driver

2.2.3  Installing the Printer Driver (Mac OS X)

1. 

Unzip the DE100 Driver Package zip file.

2. 

Double-click “DE100 Driver Package Installer.pkg” in the folder that you unzipped.

The setup wizard starts.

3. 

Follow the setup wizard and click the [Continue] button.

Once installation completes, a screen stating that the setup wizard has completed appears.

4. 

Click the [Close] button.

5. 

Restart the PC.

Once the PC has restarted, the printer driver, notifications, and maintenance tools can be 

used.

6. 

Connect the computer to the printer with a USB cable.

After you connect the computer to the printer, the message “Printer setup in progress.” will 

appear. This message may stay displayed for 10 to 30 minutes.

Note:

• 

The printer driver name is registered as “FUJIFILM DE100”. Specify this name when printing 

from an application.

• 

When installing the printer driver on a second printer, the name is “FUJIFILM DE100 (copy 1)”.
