Paper Jams

7.2 Paper Jams

This section explains how to clear paper jammed in the printer.

When a paper jam occurs, the light in the front of the printer flashes. The flashing of the light

differs depending on the position where paper jam occurs (upper/bottom part of the printer). Also

an error message is displayed on the computer screen.

The procedure is different depending on whether the paper jam occurred at the upper part or

lower part of the printer. Check the LED lighting pattern and error message to determine which

procedure to use.

If a paper jam occurs during printing, the printing is resumed automatically when the paper jam is

resolved.
