Lifting the PS-500
with Lift Beam Assembly

The body is provided with four hoisting eyes for
transportation of the PS-500. It is only allowed to lift
the PS-500 when all lifting eyes are in use. For this
FORUM Handling Tools recommends to use the
Lift Beam Assembly of the Hook Up Kit.

DANGER

Never use the HCGS lifting points
to lift the PS-500.

Always pay special attention to
swinging loads.

1. Fasten the upper lifting ropes of the Lift Beam

Assembly to a crane.

2. Lift the crane slightly and attach the upper lifting

ropes to the Lift Beam.

3. Lift the crane slightly again and attach the lower

lifting ropes to the Lift Beam.

4. Lift the crane slightly and attach the lifting ropes to

all four lifting eyes of the PS-500.

5. Check that all load hooks are completely mounted to

the lifting eyes. Always make sure that all hydraulic
lines to the PS-500 have been disconnected. The
opening of the Lift Beam Assembly has to point
towards the door of the PS-500.

6. Lift the PS-500 slightly to tension the lifting ropes.

7. Lift the PS-500.

8. Move the PS-500 to the installation location.

9. Set the PS-500 down carefully on a suitable surface.
