Remedy

Air in fuel supply system.

Check and bleed.

Wrong fuel quality or contaminated fuel.

Check fuel. Drain and flush fuel tank. Replace with new
fuel.

Water in fuel system.

Check water separator.

Faulty glow plugs.

Check / replace.

Faulty injector/injection pump.

Check, replace if required.

Vapors condensing at the exhaust for very low ambient
temperature

Burnt oil trace in exhaust line .

Possible fault

Oil level too high .
