HPE / HPEL engines ECU BOX 

 

 

 

 

The  ECU  (Electronic  Control  Unit)  BOX  contains  the  electronic  control  unit  of  the  engine,  the  electric 
connections and relays, the red stop button, the Amphenol®  plugs for the engine wiring, the fuses pilot 
lamps. The degree of protection of the box is IP 67 that prevents damage from dust and splashing water,

 

 

 

Take care to avoid faults provoked by wrong electrical connection during assembly or by 
maintenance operations on the electrical systems. 
 

ATTENTION! 
Press the Red Stop Button in case of emergency and in every emergency condition that could cause 
damage to persons! 

 

 

Take care to disconnect the ECU box by pushing the stop button during long inactivity period, 
during the battery replacement and during all operations on electrical systems. 

 

 

Be  careful  when  you  dismantle  the  ECU-box,  the  degree  of  protection  is  ensured  by  a  correct 
assembly of the parts. Take care of the silicon gaskets and O-Rings integrity.

 

 
 
 

 

 

If you need to work on the ELECTRIC SYSTEM OF ENGINE: 
-Do not operate when the engine is still running 
-We strongly advise you to let any works on the electric system be done by specialized personnel. Please 
consider that, if mistakes are made on the electrical parts of the engine, these may cause malfunction of 
the electrical systems on board or vice versa. All this may cause injury and/or fire! 
-Avoid short circuit on the electric system.
