5 CONTRAINDICATIONS

Other than those substances described in the Intended Purpose (see Section 3.1), the ZipThaw

TM

is not intended

to thaw, heat or keep warm any blood product or other substance, including but not limited to red blood cells,

hematopoietic progenitor cells, umbilical cord blood, previously thawed Cryoprecipitate AHF, Platelets, or

Granulocytes. There are no known contraindications for thawing or heating blood products.
