The screen will change to say : “Now Floating” and
will remain in this state, counting down the minutes
until the automatic end of the session.
If you do want to end the session for some reason,
use the button on the right, then press , or
to cancel and carry on with the float session.
Ending the session is a sequence including the music
fading up, lights and in the case of the Tranquility the
door opening.
Flashing Display
If the electricity supply fails, the display will flash. The
message will be “mains failure”.
The back up battery maintains the control of the door,
the lights and the call attendant buttons but there
is no heat or pumping during a power cut (outage).
The battery turns off after the end of the session to
preserve its life.
REDOX and pH
(These are options which only show if fitted)
The redox (ORP) reading / pH value are displayed.
Otherwise the dosing may be manual or automatically
timed. The automatic dose times are found in the
menu. There are two times called t3 and t4. T4 is the
time in seconds for dosing after every session.
T3 is the time in seconds for dosing thereafter, each
time the pump runs. Usually this will be less, for
example, half of the t4 value.
The ‘ready to float’ message scrolls to show the
temperature and other messages.
To make changes, press the menu button which is the
bottom middle button under the display. The refresh
time is not adjustable, this is a recommended time.
