THE CLEAN-IN-PLACE PROCEDURE, DAILY
OPENING PROCEDURES, OR DAILY
CLOSING PROCEDURES.

Cleaning the Injector Adapter

The Injector Adapter does not require daily
cleaning under normal operating conditions.
Since the fitting is very tight, install the Adapter
with the freezer door removed. Therefore,
clean only as needed or when disassembling
the freezer door for cleaning (at least once
every 2 weeks). Replacement o-rings and
gasket are available in the Spare Parts Kit.

NOTE:

THE TAYLOR 063178 ADAPTER

DOES NOT INCLUDE A GASKET. IF THIS
ALTERNATE ADAPTER IS INSTALLED,
IGNORE REFERENCES TO THE GASKET
WHEN CLEANING THIS ADAPTER.

1. Prepare detergent water by mixing

McD

ALL PURPOSE SUPER CONCENTRATE
(APSC) (HCS)

with warm water according

to manufacturer’s instructions. Also,
prepare

McD Sanitizer (HCS)

solution

according to manufacturer’s instructions.

2. Remove the Injector Adapter from the

freezer head. Since the fitting is very tight,
you may need to use a small tool to pry the
Adapter from the door spout. (See
Figure 95.)
