Procedure for optimizing
1. Check first to see which cushioning stage is recom-
mended for the components you are using (see DIL
switch setting in Appendix A).
2. Switch off the operating voltage and the compressed
air supply at the same time or in the following se-
quence:
1. the compressed air supply
2. the operating voltage supply
3. Increase or reduce the cushioning by one stage, in
accordance with the positioning characteristics of the
drive.
4. Switch on first the voltage supply and then the com-
pressed air supply again. The ERROR LED will flash
(out for long period).
5. Make sure that the maximum mass load is fitted and
that there is a 0-signal (0 V) at inputs A and B. Then
hold the Teach key pressed down for at least 2
seconds.
The SPC-10 then performs the Teach process. Dur-
ing this time the ERROR LED flashes at an even
rate.
6. Check the positioning behaviour. Repeat points 2 to
6 if the positioning behaviour does not fulfil expecta-
tions.
