When the Teach button is pressed, the slide moves
at first slowly, then at the highest acceleration and
speed.
4. Hold the Teach button pressed down for at least 2
seconds. The SPC-10 then carries out the Teach
process. At the same time the ERROR LED flashes
at an even rate. The slide moves at first slowly, then
dynamically.
The Teach process takes a certain amount of time. It is
finished when the ERROR LED goes out permanently
and when the slide is standing at end position A. The A
LED lights up. The cylinder is now ready for operation.
You should now carry out several positioning cycles.
This is to guarantee that the positioning behaviour has
been optimized by adaption.
A positioning order remains stored if the power supply
is already switched on. If the power supply is switched
off and then on again, the positioning order at inputs A
and B will then be processed.
If there is no positioning order when the power supply
is switched on, the valve slide will remain in the electri-
cal mid-position. Due to the asymmetrical voltage-
pressure curve of the proportional directional control
valve, the slide can move slowly into one of the end
positions.
