9. FERM’S AFTER SALES SERVICE
Save the original packing. Should you ever have to
move the machine there is less risk of damage in the
original packing. All Ferm products are thoroughly tes-
ted before leaving the factory. Should your machine
nevertheless become defective, please consult your
local Ferm dealer.
10. INSTALLATION
The compressor must be used on a good ventilated
area / room. To get a good ventilation and cooling it is
neccesary that the compresser is not covered.
11. OPERATION
The adaptercord, the air hose and the nozzle adapters
can be found:
-
in the compartment at the back side of the com-
pressor with the KML-240 compressor. By pres-
sing the cam on top of the lid, the lid can be opened.

in the box with the KM-250 compressor .
12. INFLATE TYRES
1. Check if the switch is on the “OFF” position befo-
re you connect the adapter cord to the cigarette
lighter connection of the car.
2. Place vehicle so that the valve is on the bottom
closest to the ground.
3. Pull air hose attach and the valve connector to the
tyre valve. Push the latch down to lock the connec-
tor to the tyre.
4. Note that if the tyre is totaly flat , the airseal may
be broken. You can lack up the car until the airseal
is restored.
5. Start the compressor by switching the switch in
the “ON”-position.
6. Inflate the tyre until the specified pressure is
reached, the air flow decreases as the pressure
increases.
7. Check the pressure with help of the pressure gau-
ge. Avoid (too) high pressure.
8. Put the switch in the “OFF” position is reached.
9. Unlock the quick release and detach the valve con-
nector of the tyre valve. Remove the adapter out
of the cigarette lighter connection.
13. INFLATE INFLATABLE TOYS
AND BALLS
1. Check if the switch is on the “OFF” position befo-
re you connect the adapter cord to the cigarette
lighter connection of the car.
2. Install the desired nozzle adapter or sports needle
adapter on the valve connector en lock the quick
release by pushing the latch down.
3. Connect the nozzle adapter of the air hose attach
to the valve.
4. Start the compressor by switching the switch in
the “ON” position.
5. Inflate the object to be inflated until the specified
pressure is reached, the air flow decreases as the
pressure increases.
6. Check the pressure with help of the pressure gau-
ge. Avoid (too) high pressure.
7. Put the switch in the “OFF” position if the desired
pressure has been reached.
8. Remove the nozzle adapter of the valve.
9. Remove the adapter plug of the cigarette-lighter
connection.
