Support leg
 Remove the linch pin (1).
 Swing the support leg (2) 90° upwards.
 Secure the support leg in position A
with the linch pin.
Tractor linkage
 Hook the carrier chains (1) to the trac-
tor.
 Adjust the length of the chains so that
when the lower links are lowered and
the chain is tensioned, the main frame
is positioned horizontally.
 Lock the lower links in this position.
 Maintain this position when the ma-
chine is in use.
7.1.3 Fitting the transmission shaft
DANGER
Risk of injury when fitting/removing the
transmission shaft
Rotating machine parts can
cause bodily injury.
Before you attach/detach the transmission
shaft:
 Switch off the PTO on the tractor.
 Switch off the tractor engine.
 Remove the ignition key.
Transmission shaft safety guard on
the tractor
 Check that the transmission shaft guard
(1) and safety chain (2) are in place and
undamaged.
 Release the PTO shaft from the chain
secured on the three-point headstock
and fit the PTO shaft to the drive stub
shaft on the tractor.
You must hear the transmission shaft click
into place.
 Check that the transmission shaft is
seated securely.
 Attach the safety chain to the tractor to
prevent the shield pipe from rotating
with the transmission shaft.
7.1.4 Connect the hydraulics
Tractors with Power Beyond

Connect the hydraulic hoses to the
Power Beyond connections.
