The amplitude setting must not be change when
vibration is in operation
Switch the vibration off and wait until vibration
stops before changing amplitude.

By pressing button (1) high amplitude is achieved.
The buttons (2) and (3) are used to get vibrations
either on front or rear drum or on both.

Machines equipped with Seismic function
(Optional)
Seismic is Dynapac’s intelligent compaction system.
Fig. Seismic sticker
When Seismic is active, the machine itself adjusts the
vibration frequency to the most optimal at the moment.
This results in increased compaction performance,
lower noise levels and reduced fuel consumption. The
Seismic function is active every time the machine is
started.
The function must be manually deactivated if you want
to run the machine with the Seismic function
deactivated.
When Seismic is active, the machine operates within
defined frequency ranges. It is perfectly normal for the
vibration frequency to vary during the compaction
phase, depending on the nature of the surface and
how many passes have been made, and this indicates
that Seismic is working.
ATTENTION!
The Seismic system regulates the vibration frequency
of both drums simultaneously, but note that the logic
controlling the Seismic function is concentrated on the
front drum. This means that if vibrations
are only
activated on the rear drum, the Seismic system will
automatically disengage. As soon as the front drum’s
vibrations are activated (alone or together with the rear
drum), the Seismic system will automatically return to
being active, unless the operator has chosen to
disable the function in the underlying settings menu.
