C.5.2. Adjustment of Tension of Cover Locking 

Mechanism 

 

The springs in the cover locking mechanism can loss 
towing power due to the usage. This may cause the 
automatic covers to open on their own due to vibrations 
that occur during operation. 

 

To avoid this problem, the tension of the springs in the 
cover locking mechanism must be adjusted in certain 
periods. 

 

To do this: 

 

1.  Step: 

Open the box cover. 

 

2.  Step: 

There two lock springs inside the cover. Switch 

the hook attachments of these lock springs to the next 
connection point on the tension adjustment slots. 

 

Check the box cover by opening and closing, and 
repeated the procedure until you obtain the desired 
hardness for the lock spring tension. 

 
 
 

 

C.6. Travelling and Working Positions of Wheel Drive Lock 

 

Your grain drill has a wheel drive lock to prevent the exertion 
of load on the drive organs during transportation. 

 

Wheel drive lock is a mechanism placed inside the hub 
to which the wheel is connected, and transfer the drive, 
generated by the wheel during moving, to the gear.
