C.2.2 Travelling and Working Positions of Coulters 

 

The coulters are switched to travelling position by 
following the procedure steps below. 

 

1.  Step: 

Lift the coulters completely by using the 

tractor hydraulic control. 

 

2.  Step: 

Remove the locking shaft retaining the 

depth adjustment rings. 

 

3.  Step: 

Pull all the depth adjustment rings and the 

plastic chock on top of the rings so as to clutch the 
top shaft of the piston (below the limiting flange). 

 

4.  Step: 

Attach the locking shaft.

5.  Step: 

Lower the coulters by using the tractor hydraulic 

controls. After this step, the limiting flange will lean to the 
plastic chock on top of the depth adjustment rings and the 
load of the coulters will be transferred to the depth 
adjustment rings. In this way, unnecessary load on the

Note: 

Switching the coulters to travelling position is 

important to protect the depth adjustment list and 
tractor hydraulic parts against the damages due to 
the potential vibrations.
