Warning! The device must be disconnected from the power supply during assembly and preparation activities. The pump power
cord must be unplugged from the socket.
The device must be positioned horizontally. Tipping or tilting the device leads to malfunction, reduces performance, and can also
result in damage to the device.
It is forbidden to drill any holes in the device, as well as making any other modi
fi
cations of the device not described in the manual.
Move the device by grasping the handle or housing. Do not move the device by pulling on the power cord.
Recommendations for connecting the device to the power supply
Warning! The device should be powered by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated di
ff
erential current of not more than 30 mA.
Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency and performance of the power supply
corresponds to the values shown on the device’s rating plate. The plug must
fi
t into the outlet. It is forbidden to modify the plug
in any way.
The power supply circuit must be
fi
tted with a protective conductor and at least a 16 A protective device.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces. During operation, the power cord must always be fully
extended and the position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during operation. The power cord
shall not be placed a manner that would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a place where it is
always possible to quickly remove the device power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging
it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug are damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact an authorised service
centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug
cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.
SPECIAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
The pump is designed only for washbasins, sinks, tubs and washer tray outlets. It is forbidden to connect it to toilet bowls. The
out
fl
ow axis should be over the pump inlet so that sewage enters the pump inlet by gravity.
Under no circumstances it is allowed to operate the pump with damaged connecting cable or cable plug. If such damages are
found, they must be replaced with new ones by authorised personnel, and upon replacement the measurements of e
ffi
ciency of
anti-shock protection must be performed.
The product should be connected to mains having parameters speci
fi
ed on data plate. Connecting system must be
fi
tted with
residual current device (RCBO) of min. 6A rated current and max. 30mA di
ff
erential current.
The pump should be connected directly to a plug, without any adapters. The location of electric plug should allow for easy access
throughout pump operation.
Before performing any maintenance or periodic service of the pump, it should be unplugged from mains.
PUMP INSTALLATION
Note! Due to a risk of electric shock it is required that pump is installed by a quali
fi
ed plumber.
The pump should be placed as close as possible to outlet pipe. The pump’s capacity decreases along with increase of altitude of
pumping. The pump’s rated capacity is speci
fi
ed for zero lifting altitude.
Pipes and lines used for pump connection may not have smaller diameters than pump’s inlets and outlets.
Attention! One of the connection holes is factory-sealed, before using it, cut o
ff
the cover with a sharp knife (IV).
Point of water out
fl
ow should be connected to pump inlet using additional connector, which is not supplied with the pump.
You may choose any of two inlets, but you should always keep in mind that the pump inlet may not be placed higher than the point
of water out
fl
ow (V). Impurities should out
fl
ow by gravity into direction of a pump.
The connection to be protected by means of band clips. If necessary, use additional sealing.
Water inlet that is not used should be protected by means of a plug, a
ffi
xed with a ring (II).
Pump outlet to be connected to sewage out
fl
ow. All connections to be protected by means of band clips. If necessary, use ad-
ditional sealing. Band clips should be tightened with a force su
ffi
cient to provide tightness. Excessive force may damage the
rubber elements.
Pump outlet has not been protected by means of a check valve and it is required to connect the check valve supplied with a pump,
or other available separately, to pump outlet. Note that the non-return valve should not be connected upside down, the valve
should allow the water to
fl
ow out of the pump and prevent it from
fl
owing back into the pump (III). The check valve will protect the
pump outlet against in
fl
ow of sewage remaining in hydraulic system outside the pump.
The pump outlet should be connected to a sewage system with a diameter of at least 82 mm.
Avoid excessive complications of an out
fl
ow system. It should be simple and contain the minimum number of angle connectors,
the so-called “elbows”. This will prevent accumulation of impurities in refractions and allow using the maximum pump capacity.
After completion of hydraulic installation connect the pump to mains plug and check tightness of connection using clean water. If
any leaks are found immediately unplug the power cable and remove the cause of leakage.
