reducing a 60 frames per second (fps) video signal to 3 fps. 1 fps is the minimum frame

Serial Port
The serial port panel configures the RS-232 port. For a full description of the serial port
configuration, including server/client setup, see the
VNM 250 User Guide
. Default settings
are shown in figure 55.

Mode:
— The serial port can operate in one of three modes:
•
None:
The serial port is not used.
•
Pass through Server:
The serial port acts as a destination for serial port clients.
•
Pass through Client:
The serial port can connect to serial ports on other devices.
A point to point link can be established by setting the serial port of one VN-Matrix device to
Pass-through
Server
mode and a second device to
Pass-through
Client
mode.
The destination of the second device is set to the pass-through port on the first (server)
device.
