Removing the Power Supply
To remove the DC power supply from an E4G-400 router, follow these steps:
1 De-energize the DC circuit.
2 Disconnect the DC power cables.
a Slide the cover off the terminal block.
b Loosen the screws that secure the cable terminals to the terminal block.
c Slide the wires out from under the captive washers.
3 Disconnect the ground wire.
a Remove the screw that secures the ground wire to the power supply.
b Move the wire away from the power supply.
4 Push the latching tab to the left as you pull outward on the handle to disengage the power supply
internal connectors
5 Carefully slide the power supply the rest of the way out of the router, as shown in the figures below.
Caution
Power supplies can become very hot during operation. Wear thermal protective gloves
when you remove a power supply from an operating router.
