Flow Measurement
During operation, check the water flow level displayed on the
chiller meter.
For proper operation, the flow level should be > 1,0 l/min.
12.7.2 Chiller, Error Conditions
One common error signal is routed from the
Chiller
system to
the inverter and further into the control system.
The following error conditions are monitored:
• Temperature out of range (high and low)
• Liquid flow too low (less than 0.5 l/min). The signal is 1
minute delayed.
• Temperature sensor failure
If any chiller failure occurs, you have to look at the chiller display to see the real reason for the
problem:

Sensor failure: cable defective, connection failure, sensor defective.
IA
Water level of water flow too low.
HI
Temperature of cooling medium too high
LO
Temperature of cooling medium too low
During normal operation, the cooling medium temperature is displayed.
