Monorack housing
The Silometer FMC 672 Z/677 Z transmitter and Monorack housing are supplied
separately. The system must be assembled as shown in Fig. 2.3 before use.
•
The Monorack is prepared for wall- or rail-mounting, degree of protection
IP 40 or IP 30 respectively.
•
The site must be chosen such that the operating temperature of
-20°C

+60°C for one Monorack and -20°C
…
+50°C for Monorack banks is
not exceeded.
Full details of the Monorack installation procedure can be taken from the manual supplied
with it.
Monorack protective
housing
If the Silometer FMC 672 Z/677 Z transmitter and Monorack housing are to be mounted
at an exposed site, then it is recommended that they be installed in the protective
housing, degree of protection IP 55, which is available as an accessory.
•
The protective housing accomodates two Silometer FMC 672 Z/677 Z
transmitters.
•
The permissible ambient temperature is -20°C

+50°C for one Monorack and
-20°C
…
+40°C for two.
