You can assign the following options to the diagnostic number as the diagnostic behavior:
Options
Description
Alarm
Measurement is interrupted. Signal outputs and totalizers assume the defined alarm condition. A
diagnostic message is generated.
The background lighting changes to red.
Warning
Measurement is resumed. The signal outputs and totalizers are not affected. A diagnostic message
is generated.
Logbook entry only
The device continues to measure. The diagnostic message is entered in the Event logbook (events
list) submenu only and is not displayed in alternation with the measured value display.
Off
The diagnostic event is ignored, and no diagnostic message is generated or entered.
