3.4.2 Tax name programming
After finishing the tax rate programming, the rate of the tax appears in the first line of the display and the
name of tax in the second line (VAT 6%, VAT 23%, TAX 6% etc.). The name of the tax level can contain up
to 10 characters of standard size.
Enter the hexadecimal character codes that can be found in the alphabetic and hexadecimal character table
and press
button. After pressing the button, continue by programming the next tax levels.
Check programmed values by printing them. Press the
(CHECK) button in the tax programming mode.
The programming of taxes is completed by pressing the
(TOTAL) button.

The name of the first tax level programming.
3.4.1 Tax rate programming
Set the cash register to P mode by pressing button 4 and button Mode. Press the
(REFUND)
button. The
number of the programmed tax level and its rate will appear on the display.
Enter the tax rate without a
decimal point.
The first two digits determine the integer part of the tax rate in a percentage. The last two
digits represent the decimal part of the tax rate (for VAT 23% i. e. 2 3 0 0). Press the
button. The
display is set to the tax name programming (description of the tax).
Note: The tax rate can be changed only if the Z daily and Z periodic report have been made.
