3.1 Initialization
Before putting the cash register into operation, it must be initialized. The following procedure
can be applied
only to non-fiscal cash registers
. Set the cash register to P mode pressing button 4 and button Mode.
Press the
(CREDIT) button. The notification of
Memory clearing
appears in the display.
To confirm the initialization, press the
(SUBTOTAL) button. The cash register printer prints Memory
clearing... and a short time after the successful Initialization, the printer prints Clearing finished. To cancel
this operation press the button Clear.
NOTE:
Cash register initialization clears all programmed data and sets the default values. Grand Totals and flag
number 1 value remain unaffected. Initialization can be executed only if Z daily and Z periodical report
have first been executed.
WARNING: THE FISCAL CASH REGISTER CAN BE INITIALIZED ONLY BY THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
