The second flag programming of PLU No. 1.

Note: Setting the PLU as a descriptive type, the PLU can be sold, the printer will print out its name but no
financial data is accumulated.
3.11.3 The 2nd PLU flag programming
After the first flag programming, the PLU number appears in the first line on the display and the second flag
amount in the second line. Enter the second flag amount and press the key
. The system will
continue in programming the PLU name. The PLU programming can be ended anytime by pressing the key
.
The cash register allows the user to assign another PLU to the programmed PLU. The advantage of this
linked PLU relates to sale of goods in bottles. For instance, the sale of the content of the bottle (mineral
water, wine, beer etc.) together with the bottle.
Only one PLU can be assigned to a particular PLU. The assigned PLU can be from the range PLU #8001 to
PLU #8999. That means that PLUs have to be programmed in the range PLU #8001 to PLU #8999 if they
should be linked to another PLU.
The PLU assigning is programmed in the second PLU flag, digits 1, 2 and 3.
