4.8 Percent add-on and percent discount
The system permits programming of the value of the percentage or constant rate that is usually used for
add-on
,
and for the discount rate
,
. If you need to register a different rate than the one
preprogrammed, enter the numeric value of the add-on or of the discount before pressing the percent
button. The value of a new rate will be effective only for one registration. If there are linked some PLUs (for
example bottle) to the present PLU, then add-on or discount is applied only the present PLU. The linked PLU
(bottle) is sold without add-on or discount. The add-on (discount) used for present PLU except the linked PLU
is indicated by L on the receipt.
4.8.1 Percent and constant add-on
Example 1: A five percent add-on for special services is added. In the following example the
button was
preprogrammed for five percent and the button
for value 5.
Note:
If all items within a transaction have the same handling charge, the charge may be added at one
time for the whole transaction. When all items have been registered for which the add-on is
applied, press the
