Using the Buttons on the Remote Control
(1) ON/OFF Button
Press this button to turn the unit on or off. The sleep function will be cancelled when the unit is
turned off.
(2) FAN Button
Press this button to cycle through the following fan speeds: Auto, Low, Medium-low, Medium,
Medium-high, and High. When the unit is powered on it defaults to the Auto fan speed. When the
unit is in DRY mode, you can only operate the fa
n at “Low” speed.
(3) MODE Button
Press this button to cycle through the following mode options: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, and Heat.
When the unit is powered on it defaults to Auto mode. While the unit is in Auto mode the
temperature will not be displayed. When the unit is in heat mode, the initial temperature will be set
at 82° F (28° C) until you adjust it. In all other modes, the initial temperature will be set at 77° F
(25° C) until you adjust it.
Note:
This is a general use remote control that may include multifunction buttons that do not apply to
this unit. In this case, if you press a button on the remote control that does not correspond to a
function that your unit has, the air conditioner will continue to run in its previous setting.
When the air conditioner is originally powered on it will emit a sound. The operation indictor
"
" will light up red to indicate that the unit is ON. After that, you can operate the air
conditioner by using the remote control.
Once the unit is powered on, the send signal icon "
" on the display screen of the remote
control will blink once and the air conditioner will
emit a “de” sound. This indicates that the
remote control’s signal has been sent to the air conditioner.
When the unit is powered off, the set temperature and clock icon will be still be visible on the
remote
’s display. If the Timer On, Timer Off, or Light functions are set, the corresponding icons
will also appear on the display of the remote control while the unit is off. When the air
conditioner is powered on, the display will show all corresponding function icons under the
settings you have chosen.
