(8) CLOCK Button
Press this button to set up the clock display. The clock symbol
will blink for five (5) seconds,
which indicates that you are now able to change the clock setting. You can change the set time by
pressing the “+” or “-“ buttons. If you continuously press the + or – button, the time will change
faster, adding or subtracting a digit from the ten’s place of the minute display every 0.5 seconds.
You can press the Clock button or the Confirm button at any point while the clock symbol
is
blinking to lock in the set time. The clock symbol
will then display constantly instead of
blinking to indicate that the setting has been received and input.
When the unit is first powered on, it will default to a clock setting of 12:00 and the clock symbol
will be displayed. When the clock symbol
is continuously displayed, then the time shown is
the Clock value. If the clock symbol
is not displayed then the time shown is the Timer value.
(9) TIMER ON / TIMER OFF button
Press this button when you wish to set the timer.
The “ON” symbol on the display next to the
clock digits will blink for five (5) seconds, while the Clock symbol
will not be displayed. While
the “ON” symbol is blinking, press the “+” or “-“ button to change the timer setting in one (1)
minute increments. To change the timer setting more quickly, hold the
“+” or “-“ button. For the
first 2.5 seconds that you hold the
“+” or “-“ button, the numbers in the ones place of the timer
readout will quickly change. In the next 2.5 seconds that you hold one of these buttons, the ones
place of the minutes will remain constant, while the numbers in the tens place of the minutes will
quickly change. W
hile the “ON” symbol next to the timer is blinking, you can press the timer
button again to set the Timer On function. Press the timer button again to cancel the Timer On
function. Before setting the timer, please adjust the Clock so that it reads the current actual time.
Another press of the T
imer button will initiate the Timer Off setup, indicated by the “OFF” symbol
next to the Timer display. The method of setting the Timer Off function is the same as the method
for setting the Timer On function.
