(4) + / - Button
Use these buttons to increase or decrease the preset temperature. You can set the temperature to
anywhere within the range 61° F
– 86° F (16° C – 30° C). To change the set temperature more
rapidly, continuously press
the “+” or “-“ button, hold it for two seconds, and then release. The
temperature cannot be adjusted when the unit is in Auto mode.
Note: Any temperature setting change can be made, but will not take effect until the unit is
switched to cool or heat mode.
(5) TURBO Button
The Turbo function sets the unit into an accelerated mode that enables the unit to reach the
desired temperature setting in a shorter amount of time. Press the Turbo button when the unit is in
Cool or Heat mode to activate the Turbo function, or to stop the Turbo function if it has already
been activated. Once the Turbo function has been activated, the display will show the Turbo
symbol
. This function will automatically be cancelled if the mode or fan speed is changed.

Button
Press this button to set the left to right swing angle of the louvers. Each time you press this button,
it advances one step through the cycle of settings shown below.

Press this button to set the up and down swing angle of the louvers. Each time you press this
button, it advances one step through the cycle of settings shown below.
Because this remote is universal, the following settings may be available on the remote display but
not in the unit’s actual settings. This means that if these remote settings are selected they will have
no effect on the swing angle of your unit’s louvers.
If the guide louver is stopped during its up and down swing, it will remain in its current position.
The “ ” symbol indicates that the louvers will swing back and forth between the five positions
shown.
Note: This mode description only applies to heating and cooling units. If you attempt to activate
the Heat mode on a cool-only unit, the air conditioner will not take any action.
