(14) X-FAN Button
Press this button to activate the X-FAN button while the unit is in COOL or DRY mode. The LCD
will display the X-FAN symbol
to indicate that the X-FAN function has been activated. This
means that the indoor fan will continue to run for two (2) minutes after the unit is turned off in
order to fully dry the indoor unit. When the unit is initially powered on, it defaults to the X-FAN
OFF setting. The X-FAN feature is not available in AUTO, FAN, or HEAT mode.
(15) QUIET Button
Press this button to cycle through the following Quiet setting options: Auto Quiet mode, Quiet
mode, and Quiet Off. When the unit is in Auto Quiet mode, the LCD will display the quiet symbol
as well as the “Auto” light. When the unit is in Quiet mode, the LCD will display the quiet
symbol
only. When the unit is set to QUIET OFF, no quiet symbol
will be displayed.
When the unit is initially powered on it defaults to the QUIET OFF setting.
(16) SLEEP Button
Press this button to cycle through the following Sleep mode setting choices: Sleep 1 (
), Sleep
2 (
), Sleep 3 (
), and Sleep Cancel. When the unit is initially turned on, it defaults to the
Sleep Cancel setting.
Sleep 1
The Sleep 1 setting can be activated in Cool, Dehumidify, or Heat mode. In Cool and
Dehumidify mode, the Sleep 1 function will increase the unit
’s temperature setting by 1° - 2° F
(1° C) one hour after the Sleep 1 function is activated. Two hours after the Sleep 1 function is
activated, the set temperature of the unit will increase 3° - 4° F (2° C). The unit will then
continue to run at this temperature. When the Sleep 1 function is activated while the unit is in
Heat mode, the unit’s set temperature will decrease by 1° - 2° F (1° C) after one hour. Two
hours after Sleep 1 is initiated during Heat mode, the unit’s set temperature will decrease by
3° F
– 4° F (2° C). The unit will then continue to run at this temperature.
