General information:
– The control unit / software described in this section relates exclusively to
the pump type ‘EcoAdd’ .
– The overviews shown of the menu levels only appear in the first setting
level.
– The following screens show example displays for a pump with a capacity of
11 l/h. The illustrations and information shown will differ for other pump
sizes.
To control and monitor the pump, it is possible to
communicate with the pump using a smartphone
having the Ecolab EcoAPP (Android operating
system from version 4.4.3 and IOS (Apple)
operating system fromversion 6).
However, further explanation on these functions is
not available in this instruction.

7.1 Further safety settings
CAUTION!
When the pump is first started, NO ACCESS CODE is activated!
During the initial configuration of the pump, we strongly recommend enabling
the [access code] and only disclosing the set passwords to authorised
personnel:

To exclude the possibility of the pump being used improperly and / or of the
system parameters being adjusted inadvertently, the pump software must be
protected by the integrated multi-stage [access code] .
Setting the access code also protects the pump against unauthorised
access via a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. An unprotected pump
can be accessed via the EcoAPP without restriction!
If an access code has been defined on the pump, the pump will only be visible
in the EcoAPP once the correct access code for the pump has been entered in
the EcoAPP settings.
