7.1.2 Connection of the suction and pressure lines
CAUTION
Ensure that the required seal is achieved by mounting O-rings on the connections when
connecting the suction and pressure line.
NOTE
We recommend that you use an appropriate suction pipe from our product range.
7.1.2.1 Connection of the suction and pressure lines with a hose nozzle

Cut off the hose with a straight cut.

Place an O-ring in the groove of a suction or pressure valve.

Tighten the hose nozzle with a union nut.

Slide the clip over the hose (2 clips recommended).

Slide the hose over the hose nozzle and tighten the hose clips (hose clips to be
arranged in accordance with Fig. 7.10).

insert
NOTE
In the case of rigid pipes in the metering line, a pulsation attenuator must be installed in
order to prevent pressure shocks.

Cut the pipe straight and deburr it.

Slide the union nut over the pipe.

Weld the pipe to the insert.

Place an O-ring in the groove of a suction or pressure valve.

Slide the union nut over the insert and tighten it.

NOTE
This connection variant is only available for the 1¼" valve.

Cut off the hose with a straight cut.

Slide the union nut and tensioning piece over the hose.

Slide the hose onto the tapered part up to the stop collar.

Slide the tensioning piece towards the tapered part until you encounter
discernible resistance.

Place an O-ring in the groove of a suction or pressure valve.

Tighten the union nut.
