If external CD changers are connected, a
previously created title for a CD will be deleted
in the same way. It is assumed here that the
disc mode is selected.
The function mode is activated.
The selected item will be highlighted.
The CD title being played at this
point will be deleted.
The title has now been deleted.
At this time, other adjustments can
also be made in function mode.
Only the built-in CD player supports CD TEXT.
It can not be displayed with the optional CD
changer. If the CD came with a logo shown
below, it is recorded with a disc title and track
titles. These information will be displayed
during playback.
Pressing the [DISP] button while text
is displayed scrolls the display in the
order DISC title
➔
TRACK title, and
then the display stops with the
TRACK title.
CD TEXT recorded with characters
other than alphanumeric and
symbols cannot be displayed.
The front panel opens and the disc is
ejected.
When the front panel is opened, the
disc is ejected by pressing the
[CD
] button for more than one
second.
The front panel closes.
Deleting a previously created
title

Press the [FUNC] button for less
than one second while in the disc
mode.

Turn the [SEL] button to select
Title.

Press the [SEL] button.

Hold the [6] button down for more
than two seconds.

Press the [RTN] button.

Press the [FUNC] or [RTN] button
to exit function mode.
Displaying CD text

Press the [DISP] button for more
than one second.
Ejecting the disc

Press the [CD
] button for less
than one second.

Remove the disc and press the
[CD
] button.
CAUTION
• Do not drive with the front panel open.
The panel may cause unexpected
personal injury during a panic stop, or
the like.
• Do not attempt to close the front panel
by hand. Doing so may damage the
panel.
